The short version
- SayHope is software for real-estate brokerages and their agents. We use your information to run the service, and for nothing else.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
- When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, YouTube channel or Google Business Profile, we use that connection only to publish and schedule the posts you compose in SayHope.
- Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted on our servers and can be read only by our backend functions.
- You can disconnect an account or ask us to delete your data at any time. See Data Deletion.
1. Who we are
SayHope (“SayHope,” “we,” “us”) is a software platform for real-estate brokerages and their agents, available at sayhope.ai, sayhope.app and at addresses we set up for each brokerage. SayHope is operated by Noble Star Realty, 1005 Gunn Hwy #104, Odessa, FL 33556, USA.
This policy covers our website and the SayHope application. A brokerage that uses SayHope (a “Customer”) decides what information about its clients, transactions and agents goes into its account. For that information we act as the brokerage's service provider and process it on the brokerage's behalf and under its instructions. If you are a client of a brokerage that uses SayHope, the brokerage's own privacy notice also applies to you.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account. Your brokerage may add your phone number, license details, title, commission plan and other profile information.
Information you and your brokerage put into SayHope
Transactions, property details, contacts and companies (names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and the role each person plays on a deal), documents and forms, notes, checklists, commission and invoice records, and the email templates and messages you send from the app.
Electronic signatures
When a document is sent for signature, we record each signer's name and email address, the signatures and initials they apply, and an audit trail of the signing session: timestamps, IP address and browser information. This is how the signed document can be verified later.
Property and listing data
Public property records (such as county appraiser and tax records) and listing data from MLS feeds your brokerage is authorized to use.
Connected social and business accounts
If you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, YouTube channel or Google Business Profile, we store the account's name, ID, profile image, connection status and an access token. Sections 4 and 5 explain this in detail.
Voice, text and chat with Hope
What you say or type to Hope, and transcripts of those conversations, so she can carry out your request and show you what she did.
Technical information
Basic logs of how the service is used (for example the time of a request and any errors), which we use to keep it running and secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. Our website loads its font from Google Fonts.
3. How we use information
- To provide the service: run transactions, fill forms, collect signatures, send the email and texts you ask us to send, and publish the posts you schedule.
- To support you, and to answer requests you send us.
- To keep SayHope secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping signed records and responding to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information, or any data from connected accounts, for advertising, ad targeting or building marketing profiles. We do not use Customer data to train AI models.
4. Facebook & Instagram (Meta)
SayHope lets agents and brokerages connect their own Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts so they can publish and schedule listing posts they compose in SayHope. We connect through Meta's official login and APIs, and only when you choose to. Here is what each permission is used for:
| Permission | What SayHope does with it |
|---|---|
pages_show_list | Lists the Facebook Pages you manage so you can choose which ones to connect. |
pages_read_engagement | Reads basic Page information (name, ID, profile picture) and the status of posts SayHope published, so we can show them to you in SayHope. |
pages_manage_posts | Publishes and schedules the posts you compose in SayHope to the Pages you connected. |
business_management | Finds Pages and Instagram accounts that your business portfolio owns, so you can connect them. |
instagram_basic | Reads the connected Instagram account's name, ID and profile picture for display. |
instagram_content_publish | Publishes the posts you compose in SayHope to the Instagram account you connected. |
- What we store: the Page or account name, ID, profile image and connection status (for display in SayHope), the posts you created in SayHope and their publishing status, and an access token.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers. They are never sent to your browser, and only SayHope's backend functions can read them, to publish the posts you asked for.
- What we don't do: we don't read your personal profile, friends, messages or followers. We don't sell data received from Meta or use it for advertising or ad targeting, and we don't share it except with the service providers who help us run SayHope (Section 8).
- Disconnecting: disconnect in SayHope at any time, and/or remove SayHope in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations. Either way we stop using the connection, and disconnecting in SayHope deletes the stored token. See Data Deletion.
5. YouTube & Google Business Profile
You can connect a YouTube channel and a Google Business Profile so SayHope can publish content you compose:
| Google scope | What SayHope does with it |
|---|---|
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload | Uploads the videos (such as YouTube Shorts) you create and choose to publish from SayHope to your channel. |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage | Lists the Business Profile locations you manage so you can pick one, and publishes the posts you compose in SayHope to it. |
As with Meta, we store the channel or location name, ID, image and connection status for display, plus an encrypted token that only our backend functions can read.
Limited Use disclosure. SayHope's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing posting features described above.
- We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- We do not use it for advertising, including retargeting, personalized or interest-based ads.
- No person reads it unless you give us permission for specific data, it is needed for security (such as investigating abuse), it is required by law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Separately, a brokerage may connect its own Google Workspace so SayHope can send email as its users and archive closed files to its own Google Drive. Those connections are set up by the brokerage and are used only for those purposes.
6. Text messaging (SMS)
Agents and staff can text Hope from their own mobile phones. A user opts in inside SayHope, on their own profile, by entering their mobile number and checking a consent box. We record when they consented and the exact consent text. Consent to receive text messages is never purchased, sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
7. Hope, our AI assistant
Hope uses AI service providers to understand requests and prepare results: Anthropic for language, and ElevenLabs for voice. The content of a request goes to those providers only to produce a response, through their business (API) services and under their commercial terms. We do not use Customer data to train AI models. Hope works within the signed-in user's permissions and can see only what that user can see. AI output can be wrong, so Hope reads back important changes before making them, and users should review anything she prepares.
8. How information is shared
We share information only in these cases:
- Within your brokerage, according to the roles and permissions the brokerage sets.
- With people you choose to share with, such as signers on an eSign envelope, recipients of email you send, and clients you invite to the client portal.
- With the platforms you connect, when you tell SayHope to publish there (Meta, YouTube, Google Business Profile).
- With service providers that run parts of SayHope for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data: Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, database, file storage, text recognition), Google Workspace (email delivery and Drive archiving for brokerages that connect it), Anthropic and ElevenLabs (Hope), Twilio (text messages), RentCast (property data), and MLS Grid (MLS listing data).
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or SayHope.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, where this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
9. Storage & security
SayHope runs on Google Cloud in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access tokens for connected accounts get an extra layer of encryption and can be read only by server-side functions. Access inside SayHope is controlled by sign-in and by brokerage roles. We keep encrypted backups so data can be recovered after an accident. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users if a breach requires it.
10. Retention & deletion
We keep information for as long as the brokerage's account is active or as needed to provide the service. Brokerages often have to keep transaction records for years under real-estate law, so the brokerage decides how long its own files are kept.
- Connected-account tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect the account.
- Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Encrypted backups age out automatically within 120 days.
- We may keep a record where the law requires it (for example the audit trail of a signed document, or records a brokerage must keep). If so, we tell you.
How to request deletion: Data Deletion.
11. Your choices & rights
You can view and update most of your information in SayHope, disconnect connected accounts, and opt out of texts by replying STOP. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete personal information by emailing admin@sayhope.app. If your information is in SayHope because a brokerage put it there (for example you are a buyer or seller on a transaction), we may send your request to that brokerage, since it controls those records. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. Children
SayHope is a business tool for real-estate professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will also notify users in SayHope or by email.
